Selected Publications:
Dr. Howes is author and/or co - author on over 100 scientific publications and technical reports and has served as both an editorial board member and reviewer for scientific journals and funding agencies. He also serves as Technical Advisor and Expert Witness on water quality and land use issues for national, regional and local governmental agencies and conservation organizations. His research programs have received numerous awards for pollution prevention and recognition as model programs for grassroots environmental efforts.
