1. Adsorption - Equilibria, Isotherm, Kinetics, Contacting Systems, Breakthrough Curve, Applications.
2. Ion - Exchange - Organic and Inorganic resins, Equilibria, Isotherms, Selectivity, Separation Factor, Kinetic Models (Intra-particle diffusion controlled, film diffusion controlled, chemical reaction controlled), Chromatographic Elution and its effects during column run, Chelating Exchangers, Applications.
3. Gas Transfer - Equilibrium, Rate of Gas Transfer, Gas-Liquid Contacting Systems, Applications.
